This is my favorite type of novel - a mystery with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing, with real characters you quickly grow to care about. Kelly's alternative lifestyle is treated with empathy and class, and shows that being true to who you are adds to one's integrity. After a few brief pages, I was hooked enough to cancel everything else and see what happens next. I can't wait for the next installment!John in California

Written in a style that compares to all the great murder mysteries, readers will appreciated the struggles of these characters and the conflicts they had to overcome. The author allowed us to have empathy with these characters and left us wondering how their lives would continue on after the story ended.
This was a great story about siblings who don't play well, to say the least. Many turns you would not expect. Obviously written by someone who has plenty of real life experience on the street and inside the police station. "Blood" is a new type of PI and far from one dimensional or sterotypical.
Both fascinating and captivating...'glued to your chair' type of action that takes this page-turner to a whole new level of excitement and reading satisfaction. Unique in its clever approach and packed with twists and surprises that showcase the dark side of sibling rivalry. Destined to become a best seller as Vince Ferraro has gone for the throat in delivering this sensational novel.

Interesting read with well developed character voices. Made me feel like I was in the room with them sometimes. A lot of backstory to some of the characters so that you understood where their perspectives were coming from. An interesting novel from Mr. Ferraro. I look forward to the next installment.
